St-Saturnin-lès-Apt is an exciting medieval village situated on a small cliff top in the Lubéron massif. A holiday in St-Saturnin-lès-Apt offers excellent opportunities for relaxation in the scenic surroundings and/or an exciting activity holiday with sports and interesting excursions. St-Saturnin-lès-Apt and the surrounding area offer a wide range of sports activities including hiking, cycling, climbing, paragliding, horse riding and golf. St-Saturnin-lès-Apt is located 30 kilometres southeast of the legendary Mont Ventoux and just over 60 kilometres from the extremely interesting papal city of Avignon.

St-Saturnin-lès-Apt is located on the ancient Roman via Domitia, which was built in 120 BC to connect Italy with Spain.

This added great cultural and historical richness to the city. At the top of the town, the remains of a medieval castle and an old windmill from the 17th century dominate. St-Saturnin-lès-Apt is a typical Provençal medieval village with narrow winding streets, covered passages, beautiful gates and remains of the old fortifications. In the town you'll also find the old castle chapel with its 11th-century bell tower, a 15th-century Templar house and several old washing places and fountains.
