Maubec

Maubec is a charming medieval village located at the foot of the impressive Lubéron mountain range, 9.5 km east of Cavaillon. Maubec is a small, quiet town set in the most splendid surroundings. A holiday in Maubec offers great opportunities for exciting excursions in the Parc Naturel Régional du Lubéron, which covers 120,000 hectares of limestone mountain range. It's an unspoilt area perfect for hiking and there are numerous trails and hiking routes in the area. The area is also very attractive for cycling enthusiasts. Maubec is also an important wine region, producing AOC Côtes du Lubéron.

Before you arrive in Maubec, if you come from Robion in the west, you'll admire the old Maubec from afar, nestled amidst the vineyards.

The old town is typically Provençal and features old well-restored stone houses, narrow winding streets, old patinated doors and a baroque church with an 18th-century bell tower.

Cycling: challenges for everyone, from elite athletes to families with children. There are several great rides to other towns in the area, a wealth of less demanding mountain routes and the tough Mont Ventoux.

Golf - There are a wealth of golf courses in the area, 4 in the department of Vaucluse and several in the neighbouring southern department of Bouhes du Rhône.
