Tanneron

The small village of Tanneron is located in the eastern part of the Var department on the border with the Alpes Maritimes, 24 kilometres northwest of Cannes. With its prime location in the midst of the scenic Provençal hinterland and not far from the fashionable places on the Côte d'Azur, Tanneron is an ideal holiday destination.

Tanneron is located on top of a hill surrounded by mimosas. Tanneron is the main town in the Massif du Tanneron, known for the quantity and quality of its mimosas. It's a marvellous sight in January-March when the yellow mimosas are in full bloom. Tanneron is not a typical tourist town and the majority of its inhabitants do not live in the town itself but in the surrounding countryside, including small forest villages. Tanneron sits high at 519 metres above sea level, offering magnificent views on all sides.
