St-Cyr-sur-Mer
The small holiday resort of St-Cyr-sur-Mer is beautifully situated in the bay, la baie des Lecques, in the Var department between Bandol and La Ciotat. St-Cyr-sur-Mer, which also includes the two smaller coastal villages of Les Lecques and La Madrague, is an ideal holiday destination and an absolute must on the Provencal coastline due to its fantastic location. Surrounded by pine forests and vineyards, the bay is home to 3 small charming harbours and a 2 km long sandy beach. St-Cyr-sur-Mer is primarily known for its beautiful and very child-friendly sandy beach. The town offers all kinds of water sports and there are opportunities for fantastic walks in the area, including along the coastal path, le sentier littoral, which continues all the way to Bandol. Along le sentier littoral you'll find the famous Dolce Frégate golf course, which is perfectly situated in the landscape and offers excellent panoramic views of the small archipelago, Îles des Embiez. 
Inspiration for your holiday:Attractions:Musée de Tauroentum: The city's prehistoric museum, definitely worth a visit. Le Centre d'Art Sébastien: Modern art museum that houses the works of French painter and sculptor Sébastien. It also hosts regular exhibitions. La Statue de Liberté: In the centre of the city is the beautiful statue of the Statue of Liberty made by sculptor Bartholdi. It is an exact replica of the Statue of Liberty in New York, but in a somewhat smaller version.
