La Roquebrussanne
La Roquebrussanne is a charming little village located in the Var department, 35 kilometres northwest of Toulon. La Roquebrussanne is located in a very scenic area between le pays du Verdon and la Sainte Baume and by the river, la rivière de l'Issole. La Roquebrussanne is an ideal starting point for your holiday. Within half an hour's drive you'll find great hiking routes in the surrounding mountains, international golf courses, charming mountain villages, lovely sandy beaches, great shopping in Hyères and Toulon and much, much more. La Roquebrussanne is a typical Provencal village with narrow, winding streets, steep staircases, old stone houses and a small number of Renaissance houses. La Roquebrussane is a very old town with a great historical heritage. In the area around the town, you'll find a number of prehistoric memories. La Roquebrussanne is beautifully situated in nature surrounded by vineyards. There are several domains in the area that are well worth a visit.

Oratory from the Middle Ages Oil mill from the 18th century Lac du grand et du petit Laoutien: 3 kilometres west of the city you'll find these two very special lakes, the result of a natural landslide. Le Grand Lautien is 43 metres deep in places and is rich in unique aquatic plants. It is rumoured that during the Lisbon earthquake of 1754, the water in Grand Lautien boiled and was as red as blood.
