The small medieval village of Buis-les-Baronnies is located at an altitude of 370 metres in beautiful and lush surroundings on the Ouvèze River in the Drôme Provencale department. It's a huge climbing area with the Gorges d'Ubrieux and the Rocher de Saint-Julien as the main sites, offering a myriad of bolted routes, perfect for sport climbing for both beginners and advanced climbers.

Climbing: Rocher Saint-Julien (100 routes from 4a to 7c), Gorges d'Ubrieux (150 routes from 3 to 8b), la Baume Rousse (25 routes from 4+ to 8b), Mévouillon (40 routes from 5 to 8b), Trois-Rivières (100 routes from 5 to 8b).

Cycling: challenges for everyone, from elite athletes to families with children. There are several great tours to other towns in the area, a wealth of less demanding mountain routes and the tough Mont Ventoux.
