Théoule-sur-Mer is located in the Alpes Maritimes department west of Cannes. Théoule-sur-Mer is a charming little seaside resort that is definitely worth a holiday. Its beautiful location by the red Estérel mountains has attracted a sea of tourists and new buildings are springing up everywhere. Theóule-sur-Mer offers magnificent views of the sea, coast and mountains.

Théoule-sur-Mer has several attractions to offer. These include a former soap factory transformed into a castle and an entire neighbourhood of spherical luxury villas designed by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag. These villas consist of a system of interconnected spheres with cylindrical corridors, oval doorways, fibreglass doors and round windows. The villas, perched on high red rocky cliffs, blend seamlessly with nature in a marvellous way.

Despite the many tourists in the summer, you can still find peaceful spots with plenty of atmosphere in this area. This is the case, for example, with the Plage d'Arène Grosse, a very charming spot. From here you can follow a path along the coast, the sentier littoral, from where you can not only enjoy the beautiful views, but also the many magnificent villas that line the path.

Ski resorts within a reasonable distance: www.skifrance.fr/default-a.htm. The nearest ski resort, Andon, is just 61 kilometres northwest of Théoule-sur-Mer. Here you'll find 3 km of pistes, consisting of 22 pistes and 8 lifts.
