Le Rouret
The small village of Le Rouret is set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings in the hinterland between Vence and Grasse. Le Rouret is only 20 kilometres from the major coastal cities of Nice and Cannes, and some of the best golf and tennis courses on the coast are just a few kilometres away. Le Rouret is therefore an ideal holiday destination. Surrounded by olive groves, pine trees and cypresses, Le Rouret is a true Provencal village that has preserved some of its old stone houses, a square planted with plane trees, a church with a free-standing bell tower, a fountain from 1851 and a small chapel that has been converted into a dance hall. Le Rouret is a nice little town with good shopping opportunities, small shops, a furniture restaurateur and a wine cellar. Le Rouret also grows some of the plants used in the large perfume industry in Grasse: jasmine, roses, orange trees, violets...
