Golfe-Juan

Golfe-Juan is located in the Alpes Maritimes department, halfway between Cannes and Antibes. Golfe-Juan is home to one of the best sandy beaches on the Côte d'Azur, so if you like good, wide sandy beaches, Golfe-Juan is an ideal holiday destination. During the high season there is a lifeguard and the beach area is cleaned every morning. There are also cosy and cheap restaurants where you can rent beach chairs. It was also on this beach that Napoleon landed with his 800 men when he fled Elba in 1815.

The town is a charming, small and typically southern French coastal town with grocery stores and good, inexpensive restaurants - open all year round. Golfe-Juan is also home to a relatively new, large and very popular marina with a wide range of restaurants and cafés. There is also a large open-air stage where theatre and music, both classical and jazz, are played throughout the summer.

Along the seafront you can walk all the way to Juan-les-Pins, which has almost completely grown together with the old town of Antibes. Juan-les-Pins is the city of youth with a wealth of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a casino.
