Auribeau-sur-Siagne

The medieval village of Auribeau-sur-Siagne is beautifully situated on a cliff top in the Gorges de la Siagne valley between Cannes and Grasse. Despite its immediate charm, Auribeau-sur-Siagne is not overrun with tourists. It's a quiet, peaceful little town despite being just 13 kilometres north of Cannes. If you want to relax and enjoy nature in peace and quiet, Auribeau-sur-Siagne is a great holiday destination.

Auribeau-sur-Siagne is a typical medieval village with narrow streets and old stone houses. A wealth of flowers is fragrant and radiant in all colours. In addition to a walk around the old town, a walk down to the river on the south-west side of the town is recommended, but be aware that the walk back up is quite strenuous.

The town is dominated by a lovingly restored 18th-century church. From this high vantage point you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside including the Tanneron mountains, the Peygros forest, the Alpine foothills of the perfume town of Grasse, Pic de Courmettes and the Plateau de Valbonne.
