Théoule-sur-Mer is a charming little seaside resort set in beautiful surroundings by the distinctive red Estérel Mountains. The location is very central on the French Riviera just west of Cannes. It's a very popular holiday resort that attracts a sea of tourists every year, with new buildings springing up everywhere. However, Théoule-sur-Mer has managed to maintain a very relaxed atmosphere.

Théoule offers several fine sandy beaches with very clear water. Sun loungers and parasols are available for hire in several places. There are a few shops in the town, including a small supermarket, a bakery and a flower shop. There are also several restaurants and cafés. The nightlife is quiet, just as you would expect from a small, cosy seaside resort.

A holiday in Théoule offers great opportunities to explore the Mediterranean coast and the stunningly beautiful Estérel Mountains with red rocks and cliffs, deep gorges and sheltered coves. The Estérel Mountains can be explored either on foot along the many hiking trails, or by car either along the N98 along the coast, or along the N7 further inland where the nature is even more raw and the views even more magnificent.
