France's most popular destination

The South of France is France's most popular holiday destination after Paris, and with good reason. The South of France has all the ingredients for the perfect holiday. Magnificent scenery, some of the best beaches in France, towering mountains, idyllic villages, vibrant cities like Nice, Marseille and Cannes, the scent of lavender and herbs, the song of the cicadas, the life-giving sun, beautiful colours, tall slender cypress trees, pine trees with wide parasol crowns, olive groves, lush plains and rolling vineyards. All of this contributes to making the South of France my absolute favourite destination.

In general, the weather is fantastic in the summer. It's warm, but not too hot, and there's not much rainfall. The climate is mild in the outer periods, making it an ideal year-round destination. On the Côte d'Azur, temperatures can easily reach over 15 degrees in winter, making it a great place to extend your summer or enjoy spring before it reaches Denmark.

The south of France offers a wealth of attractions, including the impressive Gorges du Verdon, one of Europe's greatest natural phenomena, and the beautiful deep fjords, Les Calanques, between Marseille and Cassis.

In Nice, you can enjoy the Promenade des Anglais and stunning beaches, while Cannes offers glamour and international film festivals. There's also the impressive Papal Palace in Avignon, the historic Pont du Gard, one of the finest reminders of Roman times, and the beautiful arena in Nîmes, a testament to the area's rich history. The fountain of the Fontaine de Vaucluse and the unique fortress of Carcassonne, one of France's greatest attractions, also add to the region's unique charm.

Whether you're into nature adventures, cultural experiences or simply relaxing on the beach, the South of France has something for everyone. With a perfect combination of beauty, culture, history and gastronomy, it's no wonder many visitors return year after year to experience the magic of the region. Dive into this amazing experience and let the South of France seduce you with its irresistible charm!
