The medieval town of GattièresThe small medieval town of Gattières is beautifully situated in a very scenic area at the foot of the characteristic mountain range Les Baous. A perfect starting point for hiking and cycling in the lush and mountainous hinterland. Gattières is centrally located just a 30-minute drive from Nice and the beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer. Within a short distance you'll find two of the hinterland's great gems: Vence and the neighbouring town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Gattières is a typical Provençal medieval town with narrow streets, shady squares and beautiful old fountains. There are old vaulted houses full of charm, beautiful facades and gates, lovingly restored. There are a few small shops, restaurants and bars in the town. There are also several local artisans: silk painting, sculptures, carpentry and wrought iron. Provacances offers a small handful of homes in Gattières. We also have a large selection of both villas and apartments in the neighbouring area.
